Like the Toyota Land Cruiser, the Suzuki Jimny's reputation is the stuff of legend

Off-road, on-road, or just looking cool, it's the car we all want in our garage.

Since 1970, The Suzuki Jimny has dominated the world’s toughest terrains.

From prolific use by national defence forces of the subcontinent through to use in Australia’s harshest rural and agricultural conditions, the humble Jimny has tackled it all.

It’s steeped in legend, and has risen to the top of people’s desirability just like Toyota’s famous Land Cruiser.

In Australia, the Suzuki Jimny was sold with a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated engine, making it technically a ‘Jimny Sierra’ model.

That means over in Japan, they sell the same car with a different bumper and no fender flares called the Suzuki Jimny.

It features a rorty 660cc R06A turbocharged three-cylinder engine and offers similar levels of torque 500rpm earlier in the rev range.

It’s a hoot to row its gears, and this factory turbocharged Suzuki Jimny offers great tunability  potential in case you want to turn its wick up.

Our Suzuki Jimny was built in February 2019 and is a ‘XG’ trim level.

That makes it a mid-spec model in the range. It’s powered by a steadfast ‘R06A’ 660cc turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 47kW/100Nm.

It features a five-speed manual transmission, 4×4 and a low-range transfer case. Standard equipment includes keyless entry, air conditioning, hill descent control, auto electric windows, LED fog lights and airbags.

Options include sweet Suzuki alloy wheels and a Suzuki rhino rear tyre cover. Optional extras like an Australian stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available in-store.

This one-owner car comes with a Suzuki service history, original owner’s manual, two keys, and Japanese export certificate confirming its mileage.
