The idea of something fast, fun and frugal still exists in 2024..

The Suzuki Alto Works is a turbocharged performance kei hatchback that’s now been sold in Japan for over 40-years.
It’s no wonder the Suzuki Alto nameplate has become synonymous with compact and lightweight fun. Dubbed Alto Works ‘ha36s’ – and still sold new in the Motherland – this current-generation Suzuki weighs just 720kg and is powered by a 660cc turbocharged triple with 47kW/100Nm.
Consider its power-to-weight ratio first, then think aboutthe inherent goodness that comes with light cars. The resulting package is incredibly fun to drive and will undoubtedly make you smile.
And, at 3.39-metres wide by 1.47-metres long, you’ll still fit four adults comfortably in a Suzuki Alto Works. We managed to fit two baby seats in the back – check out the interior gallery for proof!
If you’re looking for an affordable compact performance car with a bit of bite – you’ve come to the right place.
