If you're after the 'biggest' kei car on the market, then you've found home

The Suzuki Every uses a mid-engine / rear-wheel drive layout to create the most spacious Kei car money can buy

The 2019 Suzuki Every van can trace its roots back to the original Suzuki Carry Van.

You know, the one you vaguely remember from 1980s Australia. Unlike that old one, this current-generation Suzuki Every is easy to drive on the motorway as well as around town.

Its commercial vehicle heritage ensures durability and robustness, and it benefits from a mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Standard features include rear parking sensors, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, and Bluetooth phone connectivity.

The mid-engine design results in a huge cabin and flat floor, meaning four adults fit comfortably in all seats. The second row will also cater to ISOFIX child seats, and its rear seats fold completely flat into the floor, making it perfect for camping or transporting bulky goods.

It’s a packaging marvel, but in terms of overall space and manoeuvrability, nothing really comes close. It features an incredible 4.5-metre turning circle and makes inner-city driving a breeze. Huge door openings – like 1,165mm wide by 1,340mm high for its rear boot aperture—mean it’s easy to pack, rack, or stack stuff inside, too.

Nicknamed ‘Tardis,’ you’ll be surprised at how spacious and comfortable the Suzuki Every is.

Built in September 2019, this Suzuki Every Wagon is a ‘Join Turbo’ trim level, featuring an optional high roof.

That means it features a mid-mounted and turbocharged 660cc three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine with a traditional automatic transmission and is also rear-wheel drive. The vehicle sports an optional metallic purple paint finish.

We purchased it as an accident-free and smoke-free vehicle. The vehicle had one previous owner since it was new and comes with a good service history, the original owner’s manual, a Japanese de-registration certificate (which serves as mileage proof), and two genuine Suzuki keys.

The vehicle has undergone a minor service in Australia (air filter + oil filter + brake fluid) and features brand-new tyres on its Enkei AME 14-inch wheels.

As a ‘Join Turbo’ model, this 2019 Suzuki Every features autonomous emergency braking (city – low speed), lane departure warning, automatic headlights, remote central locking, flat-folding rear seats, cup holders, and a Japanese seven-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity.
