For more than 50 years, the Suzuki Carry has been the backbone of Japan. Whether you’re in Tokyo refilling a brewery or moving crops out in Sendai, you’ll likely be doing so in a kei truck.
It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39 metres long by 1.47 metres wide. It boasts excellent ground clearance and a factory 4×4 system that features a low-range transfer case and rear differential lock.
Another talking point is its kerb weight of just 680 kg—making it nimble, economical on fuel, and fun to drive. It’ll manage 110 km/h on the motorway, and its awesome turning circle makes it easy to park.
The tray has drop sides, is 1.40 metres wide by 1.95 metres long, and you’ll carry 350 kg officially. We provide certification and federal-based vehicle compliance for all our Suzuki Carrys, allowing for road registration in any state in Australia.
The longitudinal placement of the 660cc three-cylinder engine in the middle of the vehicle creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. The vehicle operates on rear-wheel drive when not locked to 4×4.
Huge amounts of steering lock result in a fantastic turning circle of 3.6 metres, and your forward-facing vantage point makes it easy to place in tight confines or up-and-around tracks on your property or job site.

The car pictured – 2024 Suzuki Carry KC 4×4 Auto
This Suzuki Carry was built in June 2024 and is a ‘KC’ model with a five-speed manual, 4×4, low-range transfer case + rear differential lock.
It’s powered by a 660cc three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine that’s renowned for its reliability. As a KC model, it features power windows, front & rear parking sensors, remote central locking, auto emergency braking, air conditioning and dual airbags.
Other factory options include metallic khaki green paint, exterior weather shields, rubber floor mats, and side tray edge protectors. The exterior and interior are new, with the only blemish being a small mark in the centre of the tray.
This example was purchased from USS Tokyo as a grade 4.5A vehicle. We serviced the truck upon arrival, with its next service due in 10,000km or 12 months, whichever comes first. We keep a wide parts holding of spares for repairs as well and have a service and repair network that extends from the Central Coast through Sydney and down to the Southern Highlands.
