Like the idea of a Kei truck but need more cabin space? Here you go.
Alongside a low-range transfer case, rear diff lock + full power options, it also comes in the best colour: Khaki green pearl
The Suzuki Carry is the kei commercial vehicle of choice in Japan.
The current generation—still sold new in Japan—is the truck you see pictured here. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39 metres long by 1.47 metres wide.
It boasts excellent ground clearance and a factory 4×4 system. Another talking point is its kerb weight of just 680 kg—making it nimble, economical on fuel, and fun to drive. It’ll manage 110 km/h on the motorway, and its awesome turning circle makes it simple to park.
The tray has drop sides and will carry around 350 kg safely. It measures up at 1.48 metres long by 1.41 metres wide and can fit up to 1.85-metre lengths when using the additional bulkhead area.
The space-cab model sports a high roof allowing those taller than two metres to fit comfortably, and the seats themselves are nicer than the single-cab model’s by featuring lumbar and side bolstering.
The longitudinal placement of the 660cc three-cylinder engine in the middle of the vehicle creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. The vehicle operates on rear-wheel drive when not locked to 4×4.
Huge amounts of steering lock result in a fantastic turning circle of 3.6 metres, and your forward-facing vantage point makes it easy to place in tight confines or up-and-around tracks on your property or job site.
The Suzuki Carry is the perfect choice whether you need a truck for farming, work, or recreational purposes. We provide Australian federal-based vehicle certification for all our Suzuki Carrys, allowing for road registration in any state in Australia.
