It is a compact unit that also features 4×4, a low-range transfer case and a rear differential lock. Whilst most Daihatsu Hijets are tray-back utes, this example is equipped with a genuine Daihatsu high-side tipper tray.
It operates using a heavy-duty electro-hydraulic ram and features a steel high-side tray that can be operated from inside the cabin. The possibilities are endless.
Measuring up at 2.1 metres long by 1.47 metres wide by 1.5 metres high, the rear tray features high sides and is great for filling. It’s a high-spec model with front and rear parking sensors plus auto emergency braking.

It’s powered by a 660cc three-cylinder ‘KF’ engine that’s renowned for its reliability and is built by Toyota. This example is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, a selectable 4×4, a low-range transfer case, and a rear differential lock.
Standard features include dual airbags, power steering, ABS brakes, front and rear parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, and a rear LED work light. Its exterior is nice and original, and the tray is in great condition. Its interior presents well and features durable rubber floor mats and tough vinyl trim.
