This SuzukI Carry is a current-generation model that’s still sold new in Japan. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39 metres long by 1.47 metres wide.
It boasts excellent ground clearance and a factory 4×4 system with a rear diff lock and a low-range transfer case. Another talking point is its kerb weight of just 680 kg—making it nimble, economical on fuel, and fun to drive.
It’ll manage 110 km/h on the motorway, and its awesome turning circle makes it simple to park. The tray has drop sides and will carry around 350 kg safely. It measures 1.48 metres long by 1.41 metres wide and can fit up to 1.85-metre lengths when using the additional bulkhead area.

The car pictured – 2023 Suzuki Super Carry X 4×4
This Suzuki Super Carry was built in October 2023 and is a face-lifted and top-spec ‘X’ model. It was purchased from USS Tokyo car auctions as a grade 4.5B vehicle. It comes with two keys, a Japanese service history and original owner’s manual.
That means it’s powered by the steadfast 660cc three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine and features a five-speed manual transmission with 4×4, a low-range transfer case, and a rear differential lock.
Factory options include Moss Grey Pearl silver paint, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, power windows, remote central locking, and a double-DIN stereo. The tray is in above-average condition and has minor marks commensurate with age. There are no signs of poor treatment on the interior.
Other upgrades include a brand-new set of 12-inch Weds JDM alloy wheels, a front nudge bar, a rear sports bar, a tow hitch (off-road use only), seat covers, front fog lights and exterior weather shields.
