In 2020, Suzuki face-lifted its Carry truck and introduced new advanced safety systems

In addition to dual airbags and ABS, the update introduced auto emergency braking (city low speed) and lane departure warning

For over 50 years, the Japanese market has consistently sold the Suzuki Carry truck.

The current generation – still sold new in Japan – is the truck you see pictured here. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39 metres long by 1.47 metres wide.

It’s designed with great ground clearance and with factory 4×4 – like this example has. Another talking point is its kerb weight of just 680kg – making it nimble, great on fuel, and fun to drive.

The tray has drop sides and is 1.95-metres long by 1.40-metres wide, and you’ll carry around 350 kg safely. This example has been outfitted locally with sweet extras, including a Yoshimura exhaust, brand-new Weds Mud Vance wheels, KTV suspension kit with adjustable front coilovers, KTV rear sway bar kit, exterior chrome kit, interior padding kit, and more.

All of our Suzuki Carrys come with certification and federal-based vehicle compliance, which enables them to be road registered in any state in Australia.

The three-cylinder engine is located in the middle of the vehicle in a longitudinal fashion, which creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. When the vehicle is not locked to 4×4, it is rear-wheel drive.

Huge amounts of steering lock result in a fantastic turning circle of 3.6 metres, and your forward-facing vantage point makes it easy to place the truck in tight confines or up-and-around tracks on your property or job site.

The car pictured – 2021 Suzuki Carry 4×4 diff lock / low range

This Suzuki Carry was built in June 2021 and is a five-speed manual model with selectable four-wheel drive, low-range transfer case and rear differential lock.

It’s powered by a 660cc three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine that’s renown for its reliability. Other factory options include auto emergency braking, lane departure warning, air conditioning and dual airbags.

The tray is in good condition and features a chequered steel lining and a rubber mat. The interior presents well has a black vinyl padding kit installed which reduces its NVH. Other extras include a Suzuki Carry-specific Yoshimura exhaust, a KTV suspension kit with adjustable camber tops and more.

If you’re after an double-din stereo conversion with Australian Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, we offer it for $999 installed. We also keep a wide parts holding of spares for repairs as well, and have a service and repair network that extends from Sydney to the Southern Highlands.
