We're proud to say that Japan's funkiest city car is now available locally

This one-owner and high-spec example has all the features you need

Back in 2016, the Daihatsu Move Canbus burst onto the Japanese car market, causing a stir.

Half a decade and 380,000 examples later, it is still Japan’s most in-demand city car. Clearly inspired by the vintage cool of a VW Kombi – right down to a two-tone exterior treatment – the Canbus ties both practicality and style neatly with a bow.

It’s jam-packed with smart features, like electric sliding doors, a heated driver’s seat and a 360-degree view camera, to name a few. There are plenty of other smart ergo touches too, like storage bins under each seat, a modular front bench with an armrest and clever cupholders.

Powered by a humble three-cylinder petrol engine, the Canbus will also be economical for your wallet. With room for four adults and small luggage, the Canbus suits people looking for a slice of pragmatism without any of the dag.

Don’t be boring!

The car pictured – 2021 Daihatsu Move Canbus

This Daihatsu Move Canbus was built in May 2021 and is a ‘G SA III’ trim level with an automatic transmission.

That makes it a high-spec model from the wider range that’s powered by a ‘KF’ three-cylinder petrol engine. Standard features include keyless entry & start, a heated driver’s seat, a 360-view parking camera, rear parking sensors, auto high beams, auto emergency braking and more.

Factory options include a cool two-tone paint scheme and black interior. It was purchased from USS Tokyo in Japan as a Grade 4.5A vehicle – close to new. The vehicle is in exceptional condition, having had one owner from new. It has never been repaired or repainted before.

The interior presents just as well, and the vehicle shows little sign of use, and its original stereo offers Bluetooth & USB connectivity. It comes with a full Daihatsu service history and both of its original keys. It was also serviced in Australia.
