The Suzuki Carry is a Japanese market truck that has been sold in continuously for over 50-years.
The current generation truck – code-named ‘DA16T’ and still sold new in Japan – is what you see pictured here. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39-metres long by 1.47-metres wide.
It’s designed with great ground clearance and the option of factory 4×4 – like this example has. It also has a two-inch suspension lift that makes it ideal for off-road use, and also sports a funky side-exit exhaust and aftermarket wheels too.
Another talking point is its kerb weight of just 680kg – making it nimble, great on fuel, and fun to drive. The tray has drop-sides, is 1.40-metres wide by 1.95-metres long, and you’ll carry around 400kg safely. All of our Suzuki Carrys come with certification and federal-based vehicle compliance which enables them to be road registered in any state in Australia.
The 660cc three-cylinder engine is located in the middle of the vehicle in a longitudinal fashion which creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. When the vehicle is not locked to 4×4, it is rear-wheel drive.
Huge amounts of steering lock result in a fantastic turning circle of 3.6-metres, and your forward-facing vantage point makes it easy to place in truck tight confides or up-and-around tracks on your property or job site.

Our 2019 Suzuki Carry is a facelift model with a five-speed manual and selectable four-wheel drive. It’s powered by a 660cc three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine that’s renown for its reliability.
Other factory options include metallic silver paint and dual airbags. The tray is in above-average condition and with a few scuff marks and the odd scratch. The interior presents well and does not show signs of being treated poorly. Other small details include a rear exterior light mounted on the rear window guard and exterior weather shields.
This car is also fitted with a two-inch lift kit, aftermarket wheels and a side-exit muffler. If you’re after bull bars, tub liners, upgraded wheels and tyres or even a factory double-din stereo conversion with Australia Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, we offer all these services in-house.
