If you're searching for a value for money kei truck
This tidy and one-owner truck is the answer with power options and LED headlights
The Daihatsu Hijet is the best-selling kei truck in Japan.
It’s been a best-seller continuously for over 50 years, so it’s no stranger to being good. This example is a high-spec model with LED headlights, electric options and a polished interior.
Plus, being a space cab means there’s room for a bag, groceries or small four-legged friend to be safe and dry in the cab. It’ll sit at 110km/h on the motorway. It features 4×4, a low-range transfer case + rear diff lock, and power options. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39 metres long by 1.47 metres wide.
The Hijet Jumbo’s drop-side tray measures up at 1.70 metres long by 1.40 metres wide and will carry around 350 kg safely. There is a small bulkhead extension which allows slim lengths of up to 1.90 metres to fit in the tray.
We provide federal-based vehicle compliance for all our Daihatsu Hijets, allowing for road registration in any Australian state. This one also comes with three months’ NSW rego.
The 660cc three-cylinder engine is located in the middle of the vehicle in a longitudinal fashion, which creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. When the vehicle is not locked to 4×4, it is rear-wheel drive.
Huge amounts of steering lock result in a fantastic turning circle of 3.6 metres, and your forward-facing vantage point makes it easy to place the truck in tight confines or around tracks on your property or job site.
