Aptly named, the N Box is Honda's offering in Japan's most-popular vehicle segment – the kei hatchback

And as you'd expect from Honda; it's nippy, feels tight and is smartly designed

Honda builds sharp driving instruments. At one point, it equipped most of its passenger car lineup with a sophisticated double-wishbone suspension setup.

It only took the Porsche 911 about 50+ years to reach that stage, and it did so only recently. Honda not only builds cars properly, but also incorporates smart and user-friendly touches throughout.

Those Honda ‘Magic’ back seats are one such example. The second row of seats folds both up and down. This means that you can either fold the seat base up to neatly store items or fold it completely flat to accommodate large objects.

The second row of seating also slides and reclines, accommodating either two adults or two child seats via ISOFIX mounting points. Finally, the extended front passenger seat rail on this model allows you to move the front passenger seat into the rear of the cabin or under the dashboard, providing ample legroom on either side.

Every seat in the Honda N Box Turbo can be extremely comfortable. The Honda Sensing package equips this model with advanced features such as adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking.

The engine feels strong, and the cabin is better insulated and thus quieter than other kei class competitors. If you’re after a second car to share with a new (or older) driver, then Honda’s N Box is a smart solution.

The car pictured – 2018 Honda N Box G L Sensing Turbo

This Honda N Box was built in April 2018 and is an ‘G L Sensing Turbo’ trim level.

That means it’s powered by a 660cc three-cylinder ‘S07B’ turbocharged engine. Power is transmitted to the front wheels by a automatic transmission.

As a higher spec ‘G L sensing turbo’ model, it features plenty of gadgets. That includes keyless entry and push-button start, dual electric sliding doors, automatic emergency braking (city – low speed), lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, full LED headlights and a high-grade interior trim.

This vehicle was purchased from Nagoya, Japan, and comes with a full Honda service history and two sets of keys. It presents in above-average condition for its age, with its exterior wholly original. The interior is in great condition too, this vehicle has not been smoked in.
