A 4x4 version of the world's best van
If you're thinking of building a camper van – look no further
Everyone knows what a Toyota Hiace is.
In Australia, we received the 2015 200-series Hiace as a basic rear-wheel drive van in a Super Long Wheelbase (SLWB) configuration.
Over in Japan, the Hiace came in way more forms. There were long wheelbase high-roof versions – like this one pictured – and versions with 4×4 too!
We’re allowed to import those four-wheel drive versions, and they make for great work tools, camper van conversions or even as a shuttle in a private hire car business.
We can have petrol or diesel, multi-seat (9+) versions and high / super high roof variants too.
About the car pictured – 2015 Toyota Hiace LWB
This Toyota Hiace was built in 2015 and is a long-wheel base model with a high roof.
It’s powered by a 2.7-litre ‘2TR’ petrol four-cylinder engine and has a six-speed automatic plus four-wheel drive.
This example was factory optioned in pearl white, with an electric sliding door, parking sensors, and dual air bags.
