Toyota's first-and-only V12 is is a masterpiece
It also propels a hand-built car made to transport those in power.
Some cars emanate power.
The Toyota Century is one of them. A car literally fit for multiple leaders of Japan, it has a stealthy look that reveals itself as you examine it.
Some of its exterior badges are clearly the product of high craft; its black paint is wildly smooth without peel, and it has an understated design that’s underpinned by a long, low stance.
If you’ve experienced and owned a few unique cars in your time, you’ll understand the value of what a Century offers. On top of layers upon layers of factory paintwork, there’s a fine-grade Japanese wool interior, four heated, electric, and massaging seats, and even an extension for the rear passenger to lay their legs flat through the seat in front.
. Aside from all that razzamatazz about build quality and amenity, the Toyota Century is still a modern marvel. Toyota’s sole V12 engine powers it, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
Toyota only manages to build around 30 Toyota Centurys per month, making it an extremely rare vehicle. Australia imports it under a ‘rarity’ criterion, which it shares with the Bugatti Veyron.
Seeing such a low-production and high-craft vehicle from a mass-production manufacturer is rare. The Toyota Century is entertaining, unique, and guaranteed to create a stir wherever you venture.

It’s powered by a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine dubbed ‘1GZ-FE’ with 206 kW of power and 481 Nm of torque and uses a four-speed automatic. It is rear-wheel drive.
Other options include wool seat antimacassars and side and rear curtains. Standard features include heated and massaging seats everywhere, climate-control air conditioning, air suspension, traction control, multiple airbags, ABS, a digital speed readout, electric seats with electric headrests, reclining rear seats, and more.
The vehicle was originally imported in 2022 and has been rarely used since. Its exterior presents in excellent condition, with there being minor marks on the rear chrome lower bumper area. The interior also remains in excellent condition, with no signs of smoking in this example.
