What has adjustable air suspension, a V8 and a rear drinks cooler for the boys (or girls)? This does.

Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Toyotas offered amenity well-above the export market equivalents we’re all too familiar with.

Think Avalon for a second. The stuff the largest car brand in the world made in the 1990s for local soil still astounds us today in terms of technology and mechanical prowess. This 1999 Toyota Crown Majesta is powered by a wicked 4.0-litre 1-UZ with 206kW power and 401Nm torque.

A five-speed auto multiples power to the rear wheels. Having covered just a genuine 72,000km from new, it’s still remarkably un-used for its age. The car rides on factory air suspension and comes with an aftermarket controller to adjust things as you see fit.

Other extras include a factory head-up display and aftermarket Japanese-made wheels.

It even has a rear fridge and electric rear seats! Talk about amenity…

The car pictured – 1999 Toyota Crown Majesta V8 C Type

Our Toyota Majesta was built in November 1999 and is a ‘4.0 V8 C Type’ model.

It was  the highest trim level offered at the time, and has plenty of then-contemporary tech like a heads-up display, rear drinks fridge, air suspension, electrically-adjustable front and rear seats, climate control, and plenty more.

The car presents well over all, with minor imperfections around the leading edges of the doors and bumpers of the car.

We have this car stored in Japan and can export it upon purchase.
