With just 17,287km on the clock, this Nissan Atlas has spent its life being lazy

It also means it's ready for work

You’ll often find peculiar things in Japan.

One of those strange things you’ll come across are incredibly mint and low-kilometre commercial vehicles like this Nissan Atlas. As a car that’s dithered about Tokyo for its whole life—with a tray that shows no evidence of being used—this thing has never really been used.

The original paint, interior, and driveline all show signs of a no-stress life. This example has a drop-side tray that measures 3.1 metres long by 1.6 metres wide.

It’s rated at carrying 1500 kg, and its GVM means it can be driven on a car licence. As a neat, simple, and reliable work truck, you couldn’t ask for more.

We also think it looks cool, too.

This Nissan Atlas was built in September 1995 and is a ‘K2F23’ model.

That means it’s powered by a ‘NA20S’ 2.0-litre petrol engine and features a five-speed manual transmission. Standard features include power steering, an AM/FM radio, cup holders, a fold-away gear knob to allow for sleeping in the cab, a three-seat front bench with a stowage section in the centre, and a passenger-side kerbside viewing window.

The truck presents in above-average condition for its age, and its tray shows little signs of use. The truck was serviced upon its arrival in Australia and had 6x new tyres fitted (dual-tyre rear axle).

The car comes with a Japanese export certificate that
