If you like a 0-160km/h time under seven seconds...
We have the answer. You can even take it to Woolies!
The Ariel Motor Company is a famed British sports car and bike manufacturer with a history that spans over a century.
Englishman Simon Saunders resurrected its namesake in the ’90s and relaunched it with the original ball-tearer, the Ariel Atom. Designed with a lightweight sports car philosophy, it set the tone for another 25 years of completely wild road & track toys.
Now with his son at the helm, the small-yet-dedicated team in Somerset hand-builds two vehicles: the Atom 4 and the Nomad 2. The Atom 4 features a turbocharged Honda K20C engine and gearbox as seen in the current 2026 ‘FL5’ Honda Civic Type R.
Being Japanese underneath means bulletproof reliability, excellent tunability, and low maintenance costs. This example has been rarely used and was well configured by the factory with an optional 350 bhp upgrade package that includes three-stage boost control, adjustable traction control, AP racing brakes, and more.
The performance in boost setting 3 is indescribable. With 0-100 km/h times in the low two-second range and a 0-160 km/h time of under seven seconds, this car will entirely change your perception of performance vehicles.
Driving an Atom 4 is likely the most fun and exhilarating thing you can do while totally clothed, just ask Jeremy Clarkson.

Our Ariel Atom 4 was built in February 2021. It has covered 922km from new and was seldom used by its first owner.
It’s powered by a turbocharged Honda K20C engine with 350 horsepower (260kW) and 420 newton metres of torque. Its kerb weight is a tasty 595 kilograms and it is rear-wheel drive.
Offical acceleration times for the lower-power Atom 4 are 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and 0-100km/h in 6.8 seconds, so expect more with the optional 350 HP (260kW) package.
Factory options include a genuine Ariel full-sized and E-marked front windscreen with wiper and washer bottle, 350 HP upgrade kit with adjustable traction control & three stage boost, a high-performance intercooler, AP racing brakes, Bilstein adjustable suspension and a Willians harness with regular seat belt buckle.
The vehicle has undergone RAWS modification under the SEVS scheme and comes with 12-months NSW registration. It presents incredibly well and shows no signs or evidence of motorsport use. Its original Avon performance tyres are still in great shape as are its brake rotors and pads.
The vehicle comes with its previous history from the United Kingdom, Australian compliance documentation and one-year of NSW registration.
