An inherently sporty and late model Nissan Skyline with a thunderous 243kW 'VQ37' powertrain.

It offers excellent performance coupled with classic rear-wheel drive dynamics.

Nissan’s Skyline badge is one that many hold close to their hearts. It’s been on the back of epic race cars that dominated Bathurst, powered Hollywood films we all love and undoubtedly been synonymous with speed.

Over in Japan, Nissan’s Skyline badge continued on long after the famed R32, R33 and R34 models. By 2009 – the year model of this car – the four-door Nissan Skyline was packing a fruity 243-kilowatt and 361 newton-metre 3.7-litre V6 as per the Nissan 370Z.

This wonderful ‘VR37VHR’ engine is something special. It’s topped with an incredibly-advanced version of variable valve timing, event and lift that helps get the most from its high-compression (11.0:1) 3.7-litre bottom end.

The engine is masterfully assembled as well, making it smooth and rev-happy for a V6. Coupled to a seven-speed auto (with paddle shifters) and surrounded by a lengthy wheelbase, the V37 Nissan Skyline is quite the Q-car.

Unassuming, fast, and likely to cause mischief on a damp road.

That means it features the cracking ‘VR37DHR’ 3.7-litre V6 engine with 243kW/361Nm as per the Nissan 370Z sports car. It is rear-wheel drive and features a seven-speed auto with paddle shifters. It was factory optioned with parking sensors.

It comes with Japanese service history, an export certificate confirming its genuine mileage, all new car supplements and two keys. . With just 70,000km on the clock, it remains in well-above average condition and presents well for its age.

The interior dashboard is starting to show age in areas, but the half-leather interior trim and general cabin is in great condition.
