Performance wagons are something car enthusiasts lust for
And Mercedes-AMG served a winner with its E43
The Mercedes-AMG E43 gets it right.
Whilst a stonking twin-turbo V8 would be great, the E63 drinks more than a sailor. Instead, the E43 uses a potent bi-turbo V6 that uses significantly less fuel yet still produces a hearty 295 kilowatts / 520 newton-metres.
It’s enough horsepower to have plenty of fun, and the diligently selected spread of nine forward gears further enhances its pace. The exterior styling is simple yet effective, and the cabin is filled with practical luxuries, including an impressive 3D Burmester sound system, heated seats made with high-quality leather, a head-up display, panoramic sunroof & more.
It’s relatively affordable to own compared to the V8 model, looks the part and features things that a daily driver needs.
You can’t really ask for more as someone looking for space, performance and luxury, which makes it just right.
