With a history spanning 50 years, the Suzuki Carry has been an everlasting staple in Japan’s commercial vehicle line-up.
The current generation – still sold new in Japan – is the truck you see pictured here. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39 metres long by 1.47 metres wide.
It boasts excellent ground clearance and a factory 4×4 system. Another talking point is its kerb weight of just 680 kg—making it nimble, economical on fuel, and fun to drive. It’ll manage motorway speeds, and its awesome turning circle makes it simple to park.
This example is a top-spec KX model with mod cons like dual airbags, traction control and power options. The tray has drop sides, is 1.40 metres wide by 1.95 metres long, and you’ll carry around 350 kg safely. We provide certification and federal-based vehicle compliance for all our Suzuki Carrys, allowing for road registration in any state in Australia.
The longitudinal placement of its three-cylinder engine in the middle of the vehicle creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. The vehicle operates on rear-wheel drive when not locked to 4×4.

The car pictured – 2024 Suzuki Carry KX 4×4
This Suzuki Carry was built in October 2024 and is a ‘KX’ model with a five-speed manual transmission and selectable four-wheel drive.
It’s powered by a 660cc three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine that’s renowned for its reliability. As a KX model, it features power windows, remote central locking, front & rear parking sensors, automatic headlights, air conditioning and dual airbags.
The vehicle was purchased from USS Tokyo in Japan as a grade 5A – as new. Its exterior and tray condition are as new, as is its interior. The vehicle has never undergone repairs or repainting, and it is truly in like-new condition. Factory accessories include a rear exterior work light mounted on the rear window guard. The vehicle comes with two keys, a Japanese export certificate with odometer guarantee and an auction report.
The vehicle was given a once-over upon arriving and had its engine oil replaced due to a time interval and not mileage. We are fussy.
We keep a wide holding of spare parts for repairs as well and have a service and repair network that extends from the Central Coast, through Sydney and down to the Southern Highlands. We can also install an Australian Apple CarPlay/Android Auto stereo for $999.
