with a 4.6-litre V8, air suspension and even a rear fridge, the Majesta is fit for royalty

This high-spec example has a good selection of options

Sitting between a regular V6-powered Toyota Crown and a V8-powered Lexus LS460 for size, the Toyota Majesta is one of those just-right products.

It has a large enough wheelbase to allow for expansive legroom in the second row but is just narrow enough to not feel cumbersome and difficult to use in a tight multi-storey car park.

Its 4.6-litre V8 ‘1UR’ engine is a good thing, too. On top of being inherently reliable, it’s buttery smooth and it enjoys being revved. It provides the car with more athleticism than its appearance leads on, which further adds to its appeal.

The eight-speed auto is geared just right to enable fair fuel economy in mixed driving. We believe its standout features include ventilated and heated front seats, a rear cooler box for a few cheeky bevvies and its rear electric and heated seats.

Your crew will appreciate the amenities it offers onboard.

The car pictured – 2011 Toyota Crown Majesta (URS206)

This Toyota Crown Majesta was built in June 2011 and is a ‘G type’ trim level.

That means it’s powered by a ‘1UR’ 4.6-litre petrol V8 with 255 kW / 460 Nm. Power is sent through an eight-speed automatic and then exclusively to the rear wheels.

As a ‘G Type’ trim level, it was the most expensive five-seater Crown Majesta you could buy. Optioned in the unusual shade of ‘8S6 – Nautical Blue Metallic’, this example also features leather trim, heated and cooled front seats, electric front seats with two-position memory, rear electric seats, rear heated seats, a rear electric sunblind and a rear cooler box.

That’s on top of standard features like keyless entry and start, side- and rear-view parking cameras, automatic headlights and cruise control. This example was purchased from the Japanese used car auction network as a 4.0B vehicle and comes with a complete and detailed Toyota service history from new.

The exterior is wholly original, and the car has never been repaired or repainted before. There are no major marks or dents on the outside. Inside, the vehicle presents in above-average condition for its age. It was recently serviced upon its arrival in Australia and fitted with new high-quality tyres.
