Sourced from Japanese GT-R specialists Global Auto, this low-kilometre example has been further enhanced locally.

and with 403 kilowatts at the wheels, it offers the right balance of performance

The R35 GT-R is the culmination of Nissan’s 50-year effort at building a high-performance sports car.

Up until the R35, the GT-R badge had only been placed on vehicles built up from a common Skyline platform—the same that underpinned basic transport like taxis and commuter cars.

That had its limitations, most of which were lifted with the introduction of the R35. It was the first time the famed GT-R treatment was bestowed on a dedicated platform, and one that didn’t have to double as humdrum transport.

Another icon was born. This example was sourced from Japanese Nissan Skyline GT-R and R35 GT-R specialist Global Auto as a one-owner vehicle. The advertisement notes the car has been maintained exclusively from new by Dandy Tanaka and was fitted with a brand-new GR6 transmission at 6,000 km.

It was also fitted with OHLINS DFV original damping force specification height-adjustable suspension, among other things. Upon arriving in Australia, the vehicle was comprehensively inspected and serviced by a GT-R specialist and bestowed with upgrades.

It received a new ignition system, an upgraded fuel system, numerous other updates, and a local Australian dyno engine tune and transmission computer update. Producing a responsive 403 kilowatts at the wheels, this well-rounded and low-kilometre example is a turn-key supercar slayer.

This Nissan GT-R was built in November 2007 and was purchased from GT-R specialist Global Auto as a one-owner vehicle with 7,166 km.

It presents in above-average condition, and its paintwork remains wholly original. The interior has been fitted with numerous carbon fibre upgrades, including a neat RH9 Carbon steering wheel and RSW carbon interior inlays. The dashboard is original and shows minor cracks in the usual areas around the centre console.

The vehicle is fitted with MY17+ update headlights (originals included), a BLITZ intake suction pipe, a BLITZ SUS air cleaner, a BLITZ blow-off valve, an upgraded downpipe and midpipe, a 5ZIGEN SPECIAL rear muffler, a BLITZ intercooler, and a BLITZ intercooler piping kit. It’s been well maintained over its life and comes with Japanese service records and a spare key.

The car was given a clean bill of health by GT-R specialists Lewd Automotive and was fitted with Dodson Motorsport TSB clips and comprehensively serviced at the same time.
