For more than 50 years, the Suzuki Carry has been a consistent seller in the Japanese market.
The current generation—named ‘DA16T’ and still sold new in Japan—is the truck you see pictured here. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39 metres long by 1.47 metres wide.
The design features excellent ground clearance and a factory 4×4 option. Another talking point is its kerb weight of just 680 kg—making it nimble, great on fuel, and fun to drive.
The tray has drop-sides and is 1.40 metres wide by 1.95 metres long. You’ll carry around 400 kg safely. Every Suzuki Carry we offer comes with certification and federal-based vehicle compliance, allowing for road registration in any state in Australia.
The longitudinal placement of the 660cc three-cylinder engine in the middle of the vehicle creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. The vehicle operates on rear-wheel drive when not locked to 4×4.
Huge amounts of steering lock result in a fantastic turning circle of 3.6 metres, and your forward-facing vantage point makes it easy to place in tight confines or up-and-around tracks on your property or job site.

This Suzuki Carry was built in January 2018 and features a five-speed manual transmission with selectable four-wheel drive. It’s powered by a 660cc three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine that’s renown for its reliability.
Standard features include dual airbags, air conditioning, power steering and ABS brakes. The tray is in above-average condition and with a few minor scuff marks consummate with its age.
The interior presents well and has not seen hard yakka. Other small details include a rear exterior light mounted on the rear window guard and exterior weather shields.
