This Suzuki Carry is heading to Australia and could be yours
For over 50 years, the Suzuki Carry has been a continuously sold mini truck in the Japanese market.
The current generation – still sold new in Japan – is the truck you see pictured here. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39 metres long by 1.47 metres wide.
It’s designed with excellent ground clearance and with a factory 4×4, a low-range transfer case and a rear diff lock – like this example has. Another talking point is its kerb weight of just 680 kg – making it nimble, great on fuel, and fun to drive.
The tray has drop-sides, is 1.40 metres wide by 1.95 metres long, and you’ll carry around 350 kg safely. All of our Suzuki Carrys come with certification and federal-based vehicle compliance, which enables them to be road-registered in any state in Australia.
Its three-cylinder engine is located in the middle of the vehicle in a longitudinal fashion, which creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. When the vehicle is not locked to 4×4, it is rear-wheel drive. It’ll sit at 110 km/h on the highway, too.

This Suzuki Carry was built in July 2023 and is a five-speed manual model with selectable four-wheel drive, a low-range transfer case and a rear differential lock. It also features an ‘off road’ option pack which includes an extra leaf spring per side at the rear.
It’s powered by a 660cc three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine, which is known for its reliability. It was purchased from Tokyo, Japan, as a grade 4.5A vehicle – as new. It was noted as a one-owner vehicle.
The vehicle presents impeccably and has been serviced twice in line with its yearly requirements. Extras include a chrome grille, a rear LED work light, rear tailgate safety chains, a single-DIN stereo with dashboard mounted speakers, tray edge protectors and rubber floor mats.
An Apple CarPlay & Android auto stereo is available for extra.
