The Suzuki Carry is a Japanese market kei truck that’s been sold in continuously for over 50-years.
The current generation – named ‘DA16T’ and still sold new in Japan – is the truck you see pictured here. It is a nifty and compact ute with dimensions of 3.39-metres long by 1.47-metres wide.
This example is tipper truck with a robust tray. It features a heavy-duty hydraulic ram and steel high-side tray that’s able to dump a load.
A three-cylinder engine is located in the middle of the vehicle in a longitudinal fashion which creates a fantastic and ergonomic cab-over design. When the vehicle is not locked to 4×4, it is rear-wheel drive.
Huge amounts of steering lock result in a fantastic turning circle of 3.6-metres, and your forward-facing vantage point makes it easy to place in truck tight confides or up-and-around tracks on your property or job site.

This Suzuki Carry is a ‘Robust tipper’ model that was built in March 2019.
It features an automatic transmission with selectable four-wheel drive. It’s powered by a three-cylinder ‘R06A’ engine that’s renown for its reliability.
It features dual airbags, air conditioning, power steering and a CD player. The interior presents well and does not show signs of being treated poorly. Other small details include rubber floor mats and exterior weather shields.
